About

Leadership work that’s practical, human, and grounded in real life.

I’ve spent over 20 years in corporate communications, and along the way I saw something that stayed with me: even the most well-intentioned leaders sometimes struggle to have the impact they hope for. That realization stayed with me, and it led me to pursue a Master of Arts in Leadership and explore how to help leaders show up more confidently, effectively, and intentionally.

Today, I run a small business with a team of 25 employees, which means I live the same challenges my clients face—leading under pressure, navigating difficult conversations, and balancing results with relationships. This combination of academic study and real-world experience allows me to coach and teach from both a practical and informed perspective.

I’ve coauthored a book, Mind the Gap: Navigating Your Leadership Journey and worked with leaders, leadership teams, and organizations across Canada and beyond.

My work spans executive coaching, leadership development workshops, and team effectiveness initiatives, all grounded in creating psychological safety and sustainable growth.

I believe leadership gets easier when people feel seen, heard, and supported—and when they have clarity and skills to act.

I focus on helping leaders build confidence, strengthen their teams, and have honest conversations that lead to real change. Growth happens when leaders are challenged with empathy and guided by practical frameworks, not when they’re told what to do.

I hold a PCC designation with the International Coaching Federation, am a Certified EQ-i 2.0 Practitioner, and licensed to deliver the Fearless Organization Scan. I’ve also completed training in Team Development Essentials, giving me a strong foundation for both individual and team leadership work.

I’ve learned that being clear—and being kind—aren’t opposites. They work best together.

I didn’t set out to become a leadership coach.

My career began in corporate communications, where I spent more than 20 years watching how decisions were made, how messages landed, and how leadership showed up when the pressure was on. Over time, I saw a pattern: people with good intentions didn’t always create good outcomes—and sometimes the impact was far from what they intended.

I lead in the real world—every day. Alongside my coaching and facilitation work, I run a small business with 25 employees. I navigate the same tensions my clients do: competing priorities, people issues, hard decisions, and imperfect information. I don’t coach from theory alone—I coach from lived experience, humility, and deep respect for how challenging leadership really is.

I co-authored Mind the Gap: Navigating Your Leadership Journey,

A practical guide for leaders stepping from individual contribution into the responsibility of leading people—where the work shifts from doing the job well to creating the conditions for others to succeed.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: leadership isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about creating clarity, building trust, and being willing to look honestly at your impact—especially when it’s uncomfortable.

I bring this to every engagement with the foundation of my professional credentials: I am a PCC‑certified coach with ICF, a certified EQ-i 2.0 practitioner, trained in the Fearless Organization Scan, and certified in Team Development Essentials. These tools and frameworks allow me to help leaders and teams translate insight into action, building skills and confidence that stick.

“Coaching with Keri was a transformative experience …Keri was kind, thoughtful, and challenged me to look at myself differently in my role as a leader. While working with Keri, I gained a deeper understanding of myself, while learning to appreciate my inherent leadership strengths, as well as identify the areas I needed to improve using the skills I already had at my disposal.”
